Centre d'amitié autochtone de Montréal

Organisme communautaire qui dessert la population autochtone urbaine de Montréal depuis 1974.

À propos

The Native Friendship Centre of Montreal (NFCM) is a non-profit, charitable community organization that has served the urban Indigenous population of Montreal since 1974. Its mandate is to promote, develop, and enhance the quality of life of Indigenous people living in the city through culturally appropriate, trauma-informed, and inclusive services. The mission of the NFCM is to foster growth and nurture wellness by honouring culture and providing a place of belonging for First Nation, Inuit, and Métis community members living within Tiohtià:ke (Montreal).

NFCM offers essential supports that respond to the social, emotional, spiritual, and physical needs of the community—including food security programs, cultural activities, outreach, health navigation, education support, and housing-related assistance. All of its programming is designed by and for Indigenous people and rooted in the values of respect, belonging, and self-determination.

In addition to its direct services, NFCM is honoured to maintain a strong history of collaboration with other Indigenous organizations across the city, working together to better support and celebrate the community.
