Eugénie Lépine-Blondeau

About

Montréal-based bilingual radio personality Eugénie Lépine-Blondeau is a broadcaster with an uncanny mashup of training in classical voice with an MA in political science. She started out at student radio channel CISM before joining Radio-Canada a researcher, staff reporter, and host. Since 2019, she has been a one-woman cultural desk for “Tout un matin on” Ici Première (French-language CBC radio), and regularly hosts programmes such as “C'est ma tournée”. She regularly makes appearances on TV programmes, such as On va se le dire. Known for her commitment to sexual and gender diversity, she is often called upon as a moderator and interviewer by organizations like 2SLGBTQIA+ hotline Interligne and workplace anti-discrimination charity Fierté au Travail. Playful and passionate, she revels in her role as relatably awkward girl (la boulette) with endearing enthusiasm.
