At Fierté Montréal, we do much more than just hold a festival!

For example, in 2023 we supported 40 community projects by community groups working hard to support people of all genders and sexualities, for a record amount of over $160,000.

These are projects made by and for 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and carried out by 2SLGBTQIA+ community groups and organizations not only in Montréal but across the province: in the last two years, we have supported projects in Val-d'Or, Saint-Hyacinthe, Trois Pistoles, Chicoutimi, Magog, Sherbrooke, Charlevoix, and Saguenay.

These community projects have enabled a number of festive events to be organized by and for 2SLGBTQIA+ people, including art exhibitions, short film screenings, festive evenings, and BBQs. All these projects have enabled communities to get together and celebrate, but also to raise public awareness of our own realities and issues.

We couldn't fund these projects without your help.

It's our own revenues, such as the sale of food and beverages during the festival, but also donations from people like you, that enable us to continue setting up support programs for community organizations and groups.
