Accessibility
Fierté Montréal wants its programming to be as accessible as possible, so that as many people as possible can enjoy it to the full.
We would like to thank the organization Kéroul, which has been working with us since 2024 to improve our accessibility measures, as well as the Ministère du Tourisme du Québec for its financial support.
Here is a list of actions we have taken to ensure or improve the accessibility of activities presented during the Fierté Montréal Festival
Elders
Urban Hub
- Pride Parade
On René-Lévesque Boulevard.
- Gay & Grey and Aînés et retraités de la communauté gaie will lead the Pride Parade on Sunday, August 10, 2025, 1 pm. A few places are available on golf carts. You can register by contacting these groups directly.
- Seniors with reduced mobility who wish to watch the Parade on the side of the road can refer to the ‘public with reduced mobility’ section.
- Esplanade Tranquille
On 61 De Montigny Street.
Seniors with reduced mobility who wish to enjoy the shows at the Esplanade Tranquille can refer to the ‘public with reduced mobility’ section.
Olympic Hub
- The Olympic Park’s Esplanade
- Seniors with reduced mobility who wish to enjoy the shows at the Olympic Park’s Esplanade can refer to the ‘public with reduced mobility’ section.
- The Olympic Park’s Esplanade is equipped with bleachers with a beautiful view of the TD Stage. Priority seating is given to seniors, families and people with reduced mobility.
Other sites
- Leduc Park
The 2025 Queer Anglo Pride Picnic, organized by Gay & Grey, an organization that provides services to English-speaking 2SLGBTQIA+ seniors, will take place on Friday, July 18, 2025 from 1 to 4 pm at Leduc Park, 6225 Godfrey Avenue, with the support of Fierté Montréal.

Urban Hub
- Esplanade Tranquille
On 1442 Clark Street.
- The Esplanade Tranquille is on the same level as the street. The site is therefore accessible to strollers.
- Several family-friendly shows are on offer at the Esplanade Tranquille, including Lumière des Nations (Thursday, July 31), presented by Fugues, FeminiX (Friday, August 1), presented by Rogers, Mundo Disko (Saturday, August 2), presented by Merck, and ImmiX (Sunday, August 3), presented by ICI Musique.
- Food offers are available on site.
- Pride Parade
On René-Lévesque Boulevard.
The LGBT+ Family Coalition, Gender Creative Kids and PFLAG Canada will lead the Pride Parade on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 1pm. Families can register by contacting these groups directly. - Time Out Market
On Eaton Centre, 705 Ste-Catherine St. W.
The LGBTQ+ Family Brunch, organized by the LGBT+ Family Coalition with the support of Fierté Montréal, awaits you at Time Out Market on Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 11:30 am to 4 pm. A children's drag show with Barbada will be presented from 12 to 1 pm, and many other artistic activities are on offer!
Village Hub
- Dovato Stage
On Papineau and Ste-Catherine East Streets.
Tales, Tunes & Wonders – A Special for Little Dreamers, Sunday, August 3, 2025 from 2 to 5 pm, is an outdoor show for children presented on the Dovato Stage at the corner of Papineau and Ste-Catherine East. Story time with Barbada, Disney characters and a choir await you! Presented by the LGBT+ Family Coalition.
- Village Square
On 1114 Ste-Catherine East Street.
Kids activities, including an art-therapy workshop and face painting for kids, are offered at Place du Village, 1114 Ste-Catherine East, during the Community Day on Saturday, August 9, 2025, from 11am to 6pm. Organizations offering services to families will be setting up booths at the same location, including the LGBT+ Family Coalition, Gender Creative Kids and PFLAG Canada.
Olympic Hub
- The Olympic Park’s Esplanade
On 4545 Pierre-de-Coubertin Avenue.
- The entrance to the Olympic Park’s Esplanade at 4545 Pierre-de-Coubertin Avenue, at the level of the café l'insolite, leads to an elevator, ideal for strollers. The other entrances are on a steep incline.
- The Soirée 100% Drag, presented by Cabenuva on Thursday, August 7, 2025 from 7:30 to 11 pm, is a particularly popular show with families.
- The Olympic Park’s Esplanade is equipped with bleachers with a great view of the TD stage. Priority seating is given to families, seniors and people with reduced mobility.
- Grassed areas with picnic facilities allow you to relax away from the crowds.
- Several food services are available on site.

- Esplanade Tranquille
On 1442 Clark Street.
- Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 9 to 11 pm, head to the Esplanade Tranquille for the ImmiX show, presented by ICI Musique. To get a good view of the LSQ interpreters on the Loto-Québec Stage, you'll be invited to enter the accessible zone to the left of the stage. Come and see your favorite artists, including Lisa LeBlanc, Safia Nolin and Gabrielle Destroismaisons!
- From July 31 to August 3, 2025, from 5 to 11 pm, you'll be able to borrow a sound-vibration vest to enjoy the various shows at Esplanade Tranquille. Pick up your vest at the GRIP booth. Reserve your vest by filling out the following form (limited spots!).
- MEM – Centre des mémoires montréalaises
On 1210 St-Laurent Boulevard.
The following 4 conferences will be interpreted in Langue des Signes Québécoise (LSQ) during the Fierté Montréal Festival!
- Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 1 to 3 pm, the LGBT+ Family Coalition invites future parents to a conference entitled All you need to know about surrogate pregnancy in Quebec. A notary will be present to answer all your questions!
- Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 3 to 5 pm, Les 3 sex* organizes I'm Bi, Actually - Talking Bisexuality, a moment to demystify bisexuality together.
- Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 1 to 3pm, the Archives gaies du Québec invites you to Intergenerational dialogue: our memories of HIV. HIV-positive people will share their experiences with the public.
- Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 3 to 5 pm, Fierté Montréal presents Pride in Montreal since 1979: moving perspectives. Several people who have organized Pride events in Montreal will speak about their experiences.
Village Hub
- Dovato Stage
On Papineau and St-Catherine East Streets.
- Sunday, August 3, 2025, from 2 to 5 pm, the LGBT+ Family Coalition invites deaf families and children to attend the children's show Tales, Tunes & Wonders – A Special for Little Dreamers, in the Village, at the corner of Papineau and Ste-Catherine East. The show, entirely interpreted in LSQ, begins with the fabulous Barbada for her storytelling from 2 to 3 pm. Drag performer Marla Deer will follow with her Disney characters from 3 to 4 pm. Finally, the Ensemble Vocal Extravaganza will perform its best songs from 4pm to 5pm!
- Monday, August 4, 2025, from 6 to 8 pm, the High Heels Obstacle Race, presented by Trojan, returns to the Village, corner Papineau/Ste-Catherine East, and will be interpreted entirely in LSQ! This festive event, in collaboration with RÉZO and Équipe Montréal, aims to pack as many condoms as possible for redistribution in the community. Come and see your favorite drag performers cross the obstacle race in high heels to take condoms back to their team! Fun guaranteed.
- Théâtre La Comédie de Montréal

- At the Esplanade Tranquille, an obstacle-free path leads to the site. The entrance is located at 61 De Montigny Street and leads directly to an accessible zone to the left of the Loto-Québec Stage.
- The accessible zone is separated from the crowd by safety barriers and is equipped with several chairs.
- An accessible toilet is available near the accessible zone.

- At the Olympic Park’s Esplanade, an obstacle-free path is set up to access the site. You'll first have to pass through the entrance gate at 4545 Pierre-de-Coubertin Avenue to enter the Olympic Stadium.
- Our reception team will guide you to an elevator that will take you up to the Esplanade level.
- Our agents will guide you to an elevated platform with an access ramp. The platform is separated from the crowd. The platform has several chairs and is covered by a tent. You'll be in the shade and protected in case of rain.
- The platform is close to an accessible chemical toilet and a bar.
- Amazing shows await you at the Olympic Park’s Esplanade from August 7 to 9, 2025, from 5 to 11 pm, then on Sunday August 10 from 3 to 11 pm, including the Soirée 100% Drag (Thursday, August 7), presented by Cabenuva, DistinXion (Friday, August 8), presented by Novartis, Xcellence (Saturday, August 9) and Mega T-Dance (Sunday, August 10).

- People with reduced mobility may use the main entrance. Part of Club Soda is located at street level.
- There is an accessible toilet next to the box office.
- Seating for people with reduced mobility is limited, so please arrive 15 minutes before doors open. Security staff will give you priority access to the best seats, as required.

- Pride Parade
On Place Ville-Marie.
- On Sunday, August 10, 2025, from 1 to 5 pm, you can attend the Pride Parade at Place Ville-Marie.
- If you’re arriving or departing by STM paratransit, the drop-off and pick-up point is at corner X and Y, just off Place Ville-Marie.
- At Place Ville-Marie, you'll find our accessible zone. Place Ville-Marie is equipped with ramps to give you easy access. Place Ville-Marie is elevated, so you'll have a great view of the Parade; your view won't be blocked by the public.
- Our accessible zone is equipped with two 10x10 tents to protect you from the rain or sun. The zone is delimited by bollards.
- Several volunteers will be present to welcome you. Beverages will be served.
- An accessible chemical toilet is available next to the accessible zone.
- Esplanade Tranquille
On 61 De Montigny Street.
- If you're arriving or departing by STM paratransit, the drop-off and pick-up point is located at 61 De Montigny Street, directly at the accessible entrance to the site.

- The Alanis-Obomsawin Room is accessible by elevator.
- Société des arts technologiques - La Satosphère
On 1201 St-Laurent Blvd.
- The hall is accessible to people with reduced mobility from the main entrance and then by elevator in the main hall (first door on the left).
- Security and front-of-house personnel can accompany those requiring assistance.
- Théâtre Maisonneuve
On Place des Arts, 1600 St-Urbain Street.
- Both main entrances (1600 St-Urbain Street and 175 Ste-Catherine Street) are equipped with ramps, inside and out, to facilitate access for wheelchair users and those with reduced mobility. However, we recommend that you enter through the door at 1600 St-Urbain Street.
- Access by metro: elevators are available at the De Bleury exit of Place-des-Arts station.
- Holders of accessible parking permits have access to several reserved spaces in the Place des Arts indoor parking lot.
- If you need a wheelchair to help you get around, please contact the central security desk near the ticket counter.

- QG du Festival Fierté Montréal
Ste-Catherine Street East.
- The STM paratransit drop-off and pick-up is located at 1703 Ste-Catherine East, corner Papineau and Ste-Catherine East.
- Street furniture on Ste-Catherine Street East, Parc de l'Espoir (corner of Panet Street) and Place du Village (corner of Wolfe Street) have seats available.
- Three batches of chemical toilets will be located on St-Timothée, Wolfe and Panet streets. Each batch includes an accessible toilet. Please note that the toilets will be open only during the operating hours of 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
- Fierté Montréal Festival HQ
On 1306 Ste-Catherine St. East.
- The Festival HQ is accessible to people with reduced mobility via an access ramp at the front door.
- Don't miss Dans le flou du plaisir: Une exposition photo sur le consentement en contexte de PnP/chemsex, presented at the Festival HQ by Cri de ralliement, from July 31 to August 10, 2025, from 11 am to 9 pm.
- The Festival HQ is accessible to people with reduced mobility via an access ramp at the front door.
- Jardins Gamelin
On 1500 Berri Street.
- The stage at Jardins Gamelin is accessible to people with reduced mobility, as it is at street level.
- The food tables at Jardins Gamelin are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
- A self-cleaning toilet on the side of Berri Street is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
- Sainte-Catherine Hall
On 1431 Saint-André Street.
- The entrance at 1431 Saint-André Street, on the Nautilus Plus gym level, is accessible to people with reduced mobility, but it's best to call (514)-575-5638 before arriving.
- Sainte Catherine Hall has a freight elevator, and its security personnel are also trained to help a person with reduced mobility gain access to the building.
- The Sainte Catherine Hall toilets are accessible to people with reduced mobility.
- Théâtre La Comédie de Montréal
On 1113 De Maisonneuve East Blvd.
- Entrance to the theatre is on one level, accessible to people with reduced mobility.
- An accessible toilet is available inside the theatre.
- Théâtre Le National
On 1220 Ste-Catherine East Street.
- The theatre is partially accessible to people with reduced mobility. Entrance is through the main door, where a ramp is added.
- The toilets are NOT accessible to people with reduced mobility.
