Xénia Gould
About
Xénia (she/her) is a queer Acadian transdisciplinary poet hailing from the lobster capital of the world, Shédiac. Now based in Montréal, this literary rockstar works as a poet, performer, and stage artist. Known as the mother of queer Acadie, she’s also a content creator on social media, walking the fine line between awareness and satire. Always flashing a smile and her piercing blue eyes, she turns the adversity she faces as a trans woman into sharp, poignant humour.
In 2023, Xénia published her debut poetry collection, Des fleurs comme moi, and in September, she’ll premiere her first one-woman show, Juste vide ton cœur, at Usine C as part of the Festival international de la littérature.
