KING FOR A DAY: Drag King Performing Art Workshops

Over the last few years, drag as an art form has acquired increasing popularity, through local shows as well as television competitions. Where drag queens seem to be omnipresent, however, we ask the question: but where are the kings?

Since August 2020, Voulez-Vous Productions produces the workshop series King pour un soir to help emerging performers from the drag community work on their drag king personality (with DeVery Bess), looks (with HercuSleaze) and moves (with Slick Hardwood) while working with renowned artists from the Canadian drag king scene to lay the foundations of their very first number. People from all gender expressions are welcomed! Free registration.
