Chris Ngabonziza, Fierté Montréal’s Programming Director and multifaceted artist has been a dynamic force in Montreal's arts scene for over 15 years. An eclectic creator with an insatiable curiosity, Chris is known for his music projects (Tontonchris, NGABO, Dear Denizen, Abakos), blending influences from indie, electronic, pop, world music, and Afrobeat. Originally from both the Democratic Republic of Congo and Rwanda, he has refined his craft across North America and Europe.
Throughout his career, Chris has worn many hats: production manager, booking agent, band manager, model, and corporate project manager. His passion for identifying emerging talent, creating, and presenting has helped him build an extensive network in the local cultural scene and gain a deep understanding of the challenges artists face today.
