Dominique Lavergne
About
Dominique has been involved in Montreal's 2SLGBTQIA+ community for over 20 years and has found her place. She co-founded the Montreal Leather/Latex Club Phoenix, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, and contributed to the Weekend Fusion committee, organizing contests such as Mr. Leather and Ms. Leather. She was also a project manager and board member of Fierté Montréal (2013-2017). Passionate about BDSM, the history of leather and its traditions, Dominique made history by becoming the first Ms. Leather Montreal (2017), paving the way for women's visibility in this community. After participating in the Ms. Leather International contest in 2018, she received the “Heart & Soul of IMsLBb” award. Co-founder of the #Unique movement against body shaming, Dominique advocates for inclusion and self-love in the community.
