Fefe Dobson

About

With a career spanning nearly two decades, multi-platinum artist Fefe Dobson (she/her) has made her mark as a trailblazing force in pop/rock. Bursting onto the scene in the early 2000s, her self-titled debut (2003) earned critical acclaim, Platinum status in Canada (Gold in the U.S.), and four Top 10 radio hits, including “Bye Bye Boyfriend” and “Take Me Away.” It debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart and led to an opening slot on Justin Timberlake’s 2004 European tour.

Fefe later branched into acting, portraying Tina Turner on NBC’s American Dreams and earning a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Home Again (TIFF 2012). Her second album Joy (2010) spawned Platinum-certified hits like “Ghost” and “Stuttering,” and as a songwriter, she’s written for Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, and Jordin Sparks.

After moving to Nashville in 2014, she focused on writing for others. In 2020, she co-led a Canadian cover of “Lean On Me” that raised over $300K for COVID-19 relief, and teamed up with Linda Perry on “White Line Runaways,” featured in HBO Max’s Unpregnant.
