J4DE
About
J4DE (he/him) is a Lebanese-Quebecois artist, actor, singer, and dancer whose music blends catchy pop hooks, a bold queer aesthetic, and fantastical storytelling inspired by his role as Meliorn in the hit Netflix series Shadowhunters.
He has also appeared in Heartland (CBC), served as a guest judge on Canada’s Drag Race, and headlined Montreal Pride’s 2021 closing show. A prominent voice in Montreal’s queer scene, J4DE performed during the city’s first official Pride month in 2023 and at Unikorn Parties, celebrating his identity as a queer Arab man with his drag-loving fanbase.
Since his musical debut in 2020, J4DE has earned 250,000 streams across 79 countries. His French single “Éphémère” charted on Billboard Canada and held a top 100 spot on Canadian radio for 25 weeks. Now working with UK producer C. D. Sancto and manager Alessio Filippelli, J4DE’s newest release, Radio Silence, is an ‘80s-inspired dance anthem about healing through movement.
