Stand-up comedian Jessica Chartrand was nominated for coveted “Comedy act of the year” award at the 2023 gala Les OIivier, winning the Crowd Favourite (audience award) in the 2022 “Concours de la Relève” competition put on by Festival de l’Humour Abitibi-Témiscamingue; her wry humour and hot takes get you laughing and keep you there. Currently working on her first one-woman touring show, she performs classic stand-up, peppered with sharp observations, while maintaining the air of a suburban middle-class lady who'd rather be going hard on chard on a terrasse somewhere.
