Jonathan Bécotte

About

Born in 1987, Jonathan graduated from the Université du Québec à Montréal with a bachelor's degree in theatre studies from the École supérieure de théâtre, and from Concordia University with a bachelor's degree in teaching.
Jonathan published his first novel, Souffer dans la cassette, with Éditions Leméac in 2017. In 2018, he published his second novel, Maman veut partir, with Leméac.

With Éditions Héritage, he will publish Comme un ouragan in 2020. This title is the first publication in the new Unik collection, which aims to reach young people. This third publication was nominated for several Quebec awards, including the Prix littéraire du Gouverneur général, the Prix du livre jeunesse des Bibliothèques de la Ville de Montréal and the Prix Espiègle des bibliothèques scolaire du Québec.

In 2021, with Québec Amérique, he co-published Honey et Ketchup with Sabrina Gendron. In 2022, he publishes his third book, La chambre éteinte, with Leméac Jeunesse.
