About
Revelation Radio-Canada 2022-2023, nominated for Folk Artist and Emerging Artist at the Gala Teweikan 2022 and for Indigenous Artist of the Year at the Gala ADISQ 2021, Kanen is a singer-songwriter from the Innu community of Uashat mak Mani-Utenam. On april 7th, she will release her long-awaited first album with a new show in which she presents herself fully embodied in all her complexity, a more raw musicality, her punk energy marked by a great poetry that brings strong emotions.
