Lisa LeBlanc
About
Lisa LeBlanc came to prominence following her win at the Festival international de la chanson de Granby and the dazzling success of her platinum-certified debut album in 2012. With her raw roots-rock-country style, she picked up several awards, including Revelation of the Year at ADISQ and GAMIQ. She then explores English with Highways, Heartaches and Time Well Wasted (2014) and Why You Wanna Leave, Runaway Queen? (2016), the latter a Polaris Prize nominee.
After a break in 2019, she co-produced albums for Jacques Surette and Édith Butler before unveiling Chiac Disco (2022), a bold disco-funk tribute that earned her several awards, including a Félix for Pop Album of the Year. Having toured Europe and the United States, she returns in 2024 with Live avec l'Orchestre symphonique de Québec, a grandiose project in which she revisits her repertoire with 63 musicians, combining simplicity and extravagance.
