Mariana Benenge
About
Dancer, choreographer, designer and activist, Mariana Benenge (she/her) is a free spirit of the Parisian queer community. When she's not dancing on the stage of the Opéra Bastille, the young woman shares on social medias the colorful creations of her clothing brand Tantine de Paris, with which she launched the “African Lesbians Exist” campaign.
When she discovered Waacking at the age of 15, it was a revelation. Since then, she has been involved in battle culture with her collective O'Soul, and founded Pulse, a Paris clubbing night reserved for women and trans people.
In addition to her nightlife and fashion projects, Mariana works as a movement director and choreographer for international brands and artists (Aya Nakamura, Tshegue, Uzi Freyja, Clara Daguin, Nike).
