Nene H is all about the unexpected. Whether dropping trap into peak-time techno or storming Berghain in a bridal gown, she constantly defies categorization.
Since moving to Berlin a decade ago, the Turkish-born DJ has become a driving force in the city's underground, championing SWANA, Muslim, queer, and female representation.
Her genre-blending sets—rooted in Azerbaijani and Turkish influences and shaped by classical piano training—seamlessly fuse truculent techno, Turkish-German hip-hop, and ghetto-house. Beyond the decks, she uplifts marginalized communities through Sirän, an Istanbul-based QTBIPOC collective, and her non-profit label Umay, supporting queer and SWANA artists.
