Rameez Karim
About
Rameez Karim is a Montreal-based choreographer, performer, and dance educator. His movement practice is anchored in Bollywood and Indian folk dances. Rameez is the Founder of Veils of Bollywood, a collective created to investigate, share, and evolve the diverse connections existing between Indian dance forms and inclusivity, cultural mediation, spirituality, nature, mental health, gender roles, queer representation and anti-colonization. He holds a BFA from Concordia University with a major in Contemporary Dance, specialised in creation and choreography.
