Satinée (she/her/they/them) first developed their artistry through hip hop dance and graduated in 2014 from the École de danse contemporaine de Montréal (EDCM).
Working in both the contemporary stage scene and the commercial industry, Satinée seeks plurality and diversity in their art.
"Dance is, for me, the primary way to connect with my own body—a connection often influenced, even dictated, by external ideologies. Movement embodies the relationship between my mind, the physical world, and my environment."
