Veils of Bollywood is a Montréal-based dance collective founded by Rameez Karim, blending Bollywood and Indian folk traditions with a contemporary twist.
Through immersive performances and cultural mediation, VOB brings South Asian dance into unexpected spaces, celebrating diversity and challenging norms.
The troupe has lit up major festivals like Festival Orientalys, Quartiers Danses, Fierté Montréal, and Place des Arts’ Tempéo, with appearances across Canada and the U.S., from Toronto to Dallas.
Pioneers in their field, they were the first Indian dance group featured on TVA’s Révolution and made it to the quarterfinals of Quel Talent!
At its core, VOB aims to reimagine Bollywood through bold, inclusive, and community-rooted performance.
