The Desire to Be Oneself: Perspectives on Lesbian Media

From *Long Time Coming*, Canada’s first lesbian magazine, through the many publications of the 1980s, to today’s digital media, our media outlets create spaces where we can talk about our realities; and also reinvent the world. Come (re)discover the diversity of media produced by and for the lesbian community over the years!

An exhibition and a presentation, accompanied by a slideshow, will offer a retrospective of lesbian media in Quebec. Following that, women from various media outlets will share why and how they created and sustained lesbian media.

A buffet and a dance will bring this day to a festive close.
