About
Founded in 2004, Alliance Arc-en-ciel de Québec is a community organization in
Québec City whose mission is to defend the collective rights of the 2SLGBTQ+
communities. Over the years, the organization has acquired a strong reputation for its
events and for its diligent work in the fight to end homophobia and transphobia. In
addition to organizing the Fierté de Québec (Québec City Pride) and putting together
activities to highlight the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia on
May 17, Alliance-Arc-en-ciel is currently developing several projects that aim to
mobilize people and educate them on the realities and issues faced by the 2SLBTQ+
communities.
