Formerly known as Jass-Sainte Bourque, Acadian drag queen Chiquita Mére (she/her) has made waves across queer Canada. She hosted the "First Ever Acadian Drag Ball" and featured in CBC Gem’s documentary series Canada’s A Drag in 2020. In 2021, Lisa LeBlanc invited her to steal the show in the music video for "Pourquoi faire aujourd’hui."
Since then, the queen has been hosting drag nights across New Brunswick and Quebec, while showcasing her highly personal vision of drag excellence on social media, where she has built a combined following of over 100,000 fans on Instagram and TikTok. On stage, Chiquita Mére is a powerhouse of talent, clever humor, boldness, and love.
