Chris Cool (he/him) is a self-produced underground artist who expresses himself without censorship through his irreverent universe. He uses this universe to challenge the conventions of performative masculinity.
Born in Val-d'Or, this stripper-like rebel has been active on the music scene since 2012. Though his roots, he defines himself as a global multidisciplinary artist, drawing eclectic inspiration from the likes of Kesha, Riff-Raff, the Chemical Brothers, and Crystal Castles. Chris grew up between Quebec City and Montreal, has toured several countries in Europe and North America, but it was above all Myspace, Tumblr, and the afters that shaped him.
With his raw, and abrasive beats, Chris is determined to push the boundaries of Quebec pop... and it’s going to take a lot to stop him.
With the release of his upcoming album “Lord Take My Load” scheduled for the fall, we can expect to hear exclusive material live on stage.
