About
A DJ and event producer for the past ten years, DJ Sam (she/her) is a key and hyperactive figure in Montreal’s LGBTQ2S+ nightlife scene.
A true free spirit, this artist draws inspiration from her cultural roots, her travels, and a deep-seated passion for music.
Driven by a constant desire to explore new worlds, she crafts eclectic sets blending house, Afro house, disco, and Arabic or Latin influences. Her primary goal remains to create a perfect balance between nostalgia and discovery, fusing familiar sounds with fresh, unexpected tones that challenge the audience’s expectations.
A music-loving entrepreneur and proud 90s kid, she co-founded and produces the famous QUEEN & QUEER parties. Through this project, Sam channels an impressive collective energy and creates festive, inclusive spaces for lesbian and queer women in Montreal, Ottawa, and throughout Quebec. Her committed approach champions diversity and freedom of expression.
