J4DE
About
J4DE (Jade Hassouné) (he/him) is a Lebanese-Quebecois pop artist who blends catchy songwriting, a bold queer aesthetic, and a cinematic visual style. Having gained widespread recognition for his role as Meliorn in Shadowhunters and his appearance as a guest judge on Canada’s Drag Race, he is now establishing himself as a rising voice in Canadian pop.
His music, inspired by synthpop and ’80s sounds, explores identity, resilience, and self-expression. With over 250,000 streams in 109 countries and radio success in Canada for his French-language single “Éphémère,” J4DE has built an international audience.
His project Radio Silence delves into a nocturnal and emotional universe, navigating themes of heartbreak, emancipation, and rebirth. Rooted in Montreal’s queer scene, J4DE creates worlds where authenticity, freedom, and imagination converge.
