La Bille Hatch (she/her) is the product of a burning desire to explore, to bare all, and to stir up trouble in sequins. A camp, voluptuous, and unpredictable creature, she oscillates between revelations, a twinkle in her eye, madness, and audacity. Blending ritual, sensuality, and radical freedom, she embodies a flamboyant, unruly, and resolutely queer figure. A PhD student by day, queen of PhDrag by night, her universe draws as much from pop, alternative, and cabaret icons—Björk, Marilyn Monroe, Peaches, Rebeka Warrior, Brooke Candy, Nina Simone, and Amanda Lepore—as from drag figures like Sasha Velour and Bimini, as well as from the women and queer people who have shaped her life.
