Maguy Métellus
About
Maguy Métellus (she/her) is a Haitian-Quebecois spoken-word artist, Afro-feminist activist, poetry and language enthusiast, and a highly sought-after host. She is also a storyteller and reader. In May 2015, she teamed up with writers Horace I. Goddard (RIP) and H. Nigel Thomas to create the Lectures Kola (now Logos) Readings series, which she co-organizes and co-hosts. Since May 2022, she has been a board member of Fierté littéraire; she has been organizing and hosting the Diversité en toutes lettres event since that same year.
