A multidisciplinary artist from Alma, Pierre-Olivier Beaulac-Bouchard (he/him) expresses himself through theater, poetry, and storytelling. At the age of 16, he discovered Quebec Sign Language (LSQ)—it was love at first sight, prompting him to move to Montreal at 18 to join the Deaf community. Born with profound hearing loss, he now navigates between the Deaf and hearing worlds. The stage allows him to unleash his imagination and his rich range of facial expressions. At the same time, Pierre-Olivier channels his creativity on social media. With over 10,000 followers on TikTok, he posts short videos in LSQ with French subtitles, aiming to raise public awareness about the realities faced by deaf people.
