RAMÉ

About

A Chilean singer-songwriter based in Montreal, RAMÉ (she/her) pursues an artistic practice inextricably linked to her identity as a queer Latin American immigrant. Her musical world blends world music, R&B, hip-hop, Latin alt-pop, and contemporary jazz to express an inner chaos shaped by diverse influences.

Coming from community spaces where music serves as a tool for protest, the artist places resistance and solidarity at the heart of her work. Her performances aim to amplify marginalized narratives and elevate racialized voices. Through themes related to systemic inequalities, gender, and belonging, RAMÉ transforms vulnerability into a political act. Her work asserts itself as a means of reclaiming public space while fostering collective autonomy through a form of engaged artistic resistance.
