Ronald Belaza

Ronald Belaza (he/him) (Norway / Philippines) is a dancer, choreographer, artistic director, and cultural organizer, and the founder of Queer The W*ack. Active in the whacking/punking scene since 2009, he is known for his musicality, performance quality, and strong commitment to queer representation within club dance culture.
He holds a BA in Jazz Dance from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts and has trained in street dance and theatre in Norway and New York. He has competed, judged, and taught workshops at major festivals across the world, including Summer Dance Forever (Amsterdam), Waack It Out (Italy), Love Attack Festival (Manila) and Glitterwhack (Croatia & Paris).
Through Queer The W*ack, he creates platforms that merge battles, education, and community, centering queer history, artistic integrity, and international exchange in whacking/punking culture.
