About
Uniphare is a community organization based in Rimouski in the Bas-Saint-Laurent region, which has been in existence since 1994. Previously known as MAINS BSL, the organization's mission is to support, inform, raise awareness and provide harm reduction and prevention services.
Uniphare's clientele is composed of a diversity of communities: people of all genders and sexualities, as well as people living with STI/HIV/AIDS. We serve the eight MRCs of the Bas-Saint-Laurent region: Kamouraska, Témiscouata, Rivière-du-Loup, Les Basques, Rimouski-Neigette, La Mitis, La Matapédia and La Matanie.
