About
Created in 2022 by the DJ duo Homopop to get Southwest Montreal’s queer community dancing, West End Gays quickly became a must-attend event thanks to its hedonistic vibe and signature blend of disco, Italo, Hi-NRG, house, and underground gems. Inspired as much by the 1970s Gay Liberation Movement as by the British and Italian music scenes of the 80s and house anthems of the 90s and 2000s, the duo delivers eclectic DJ sets that celebrate 2SLGBTQIA+ nightlife culture—combining sweat, euphoric choruses, moving bodies, and moments of collective communion on the dance floor.
After more than fifteen editions across Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, and Ottawa, West End Gays is teaming up once again with Montréal Pride and the SAT to present the 4th edition of Pleasuredome, a 360° party in the Satosphere.
