Ever since 2019, the itinerant BLUSH parties, produced by Voulez-Vous Productions, offer an environment for artistic diffusion and safe entertainment accessible to queer women and gender-nonconforming people thanks to a harm reduction approach with regard to substance use as well as prevention practices around sexual, racist, homophobic and transphobic harassment. Generally speaking, these events seek to showcase the talent of performers from Montréal’s burlesque and drag scenes and DJs, be they emerging or established, while encouraging the development of their careers.
