ExChange | Intergenerational Art-Making and Dialogue Event

exChange is very excited to invite you to an intergenerational art-making and dialogue event. This will be the third event in an ongoing series with teaching artists, where participants will be encouraged to connect, converse, and create with members of diverse generations across 2SLGBTQI+ communities in Montréal/Tiohtià:ke. Our goal is to strengthen relationships through art-making and storytelling of the English-speaking 2SLGBTQIA+ communities in Montréal/Tiohtià:ke through trans inclusive and celebratory events.

Focus for the Event: Through guided self reflection and intergenerational sharing, participants will be introduced to artistic techniques to create unique celebratory party flags responding to the prompt: “How do I celebrate my Queer Joy?”

We hope that this event will continue to bring together various generations of 2SLGBTQI+ individuals and communities, and honour the stories of young queer folk as well as the older generation who paved the way.
