OM at the foot of Mount Royal
The most anticipated event of the summer is back!
The Orchestre Métropolitain and Principal Conductor Yannick Nézet-Séguin are inviting Montrealers to experience the joy of music in the great outdoors at a free concert at the foot of Mount Royal on August 2. It’s an opportunity to come together with thousands of people for an incredible experience at one of the city’s most iconic locations.
A special guest, piano virtuoso Alain Lefèvre, will perform the Québécois composer André Mathieu’s sublime Rhapsodie romantique pour piano et orchestre. In the image of cosmopolitan Montréal, the program will be rounded out by multicultural influences like the passionate melodies of Dvorák, the majestic landscapes of Jean Coulthard and lively rhythms of Márquez!
And, to mark the start of the Pride celebrations -starting the next day, OM has a colorful surprise in store for you!
