Citizens' March - May 17

The Fondation Émergence, in collaboration with Fierté Montréal, invites you to a Citizens’ March on May 17, as part of the International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia.

We are calling for mobilization and solidarity to remind everyone of the importance of 2SLGBTQIA+ rights and to denounce the rise of hate speech through a strong presence in public spaces.

Allies have a crucial role to play in this context. The void left by inaction is quickly filled with hate — come march with us to show the strength of our numbers. It’s time to act together in solidarity.

Friends, families, colleagues, neighbors — come march alongside LGBTQ+ communities to say no to setbacks and to hate!

Together, let’s mobilize against these setbacks. Let’s be thousands marching on May 17!
