Vision 2088

Vision 2088 is divided into two parts: The Legacy Of The Craft, a creatives’ panel discussion followed by Vision 2088: A Cyberpunk Outlook, an immersive futuristic party.

In The Legacy Of The Craft, our panel of creatives explore how empathy influences the themes of their work as Asian diasporic creatives, as well as how their creative work is influenced by those who have paved the way before them. If memories of the past shape our present and future, we ask contemporary creators what they want to pass on to the next generation of artists. With panelists George Fok, Albert Nguyen, Allan Matudio, Celine Do. Moderated by Hua Li.

Vision 2088: A Cyberpunk Outlook is a dance party that draws inspiration from the Cyberpunk science-fiction genre set in a futuristic setting that features advanced technological and scientific achievements, such as artificial intelligence and cybernetics, juxtaposed with societal collapse. We encourage attendees to imagine their future selves, to think about how they will enhance their relationships with others, and manifest their more hopeful vision on the dance floor - all facilitated by the sounds and visuals of the Cyberpunk universe. DJ sets by Mollygum, online threat, Meiiyun, and Daura, as well as circus performances by Sarah Louis-Jean, and Tra My Trinh. Hosted by Ke and Maka.
