Sweet Like Honey is a grassroots initiative founded by Marlyne in June 2021. Its creation was fueled by the lack of lesbian/sapphic spaces in Montreal. After a successful protest event, it was clear that the community wanted more. Since then Sweet Like Honey has continued to create events for individuals who relate to the lesbian/sapphic experience and friends while also highlighting local BIPOC artists and talent. Through events like dance parties, strip club nights, picnics, mingles, and karaoke nights they have been able to see beautiful connections happen between vast members of our community.
