RAMÉ
Let yourself be swept away by artist RAMÉ’s (she/her) new creation. Inspired by her debut album, currently in production, this powerful show explores immigration as a true human metamorphosis.
A multi-genre project, it unites the artist’s roots with her new Canadian home. The fusion is complete: acoustic instruments intertwine with electronic textures, while contemporary jazz and Latin rhythms meet the political engagement of hip-hop. Through this rich soundscape, RAMÉ offers a lucid perspective on homelessness in Canada, geopolitical oppression, racism, and vulnerability.
Backed by a full ensemble, the show unfolds as a continuous narrative where storytelling, improvisation, and virtuosity intertwine. Each piece invites the audience to inhabit a space that is both chaotic and magnificent, conducive to reflection and liberation.
Much more than a concert, this performance is an act of resistance and tenderness that fosters a raw intimacy with the audience.
