A household name in Québec radio and TV for over 15 years, Catherine Pogonat has a knack for launching new and emerging artists’ careers. An award-winning host of flagship radio shows like “Bande à part”, "Ste-Catherine" and "Mange ta ville", Catherine currently hosts the eponymous daily morning music show “L'effet Pogonat” on (French-language CBC counterpart) music station ICI Musique.
Beyond covering the cultural scene, she regularly helms major interviews on national chain ICI Première, and is a regular contributor to major Québec magazines. No stranger to the stage, she is known to headline cultural events, either at the mic or spinning a DJ set for galas and major festivals near you!
