LGBT+ Family Coalition

Founded in 1998, the LGBT+ Family Coalition works daily to create a world free of homophobia and transphobia where all families are included, celebrated and valued. For nearly 25 years, the organization has fought for the rights of gay, lesbian, bisexual, trans and non-binary parents and their children. The organization was among the front-line activists when civil union, marriage and legal recognition of our families were debated in government. Even today, their expertise leads them to play an important advisory role with institutions wishing to create environments, laws and regulations that are truly inclusive of LGBT+ realities.
