EKITWANDA is a Congolese queer multidisciplinary artist/DJ currently based in Montréal. Starting her creative career as a painter, she then transitioned into working as a tattoo artist. Whether tattooing, painting, or DJing, the origin of all inspiration in her creative craft is rooted in Pan-Africanism. EKITWANDA is a genre bender, with a love for all electronic music genres including Techno, Gqom, Hyperpop, Jersey Club, and more. She aims to marry the experimental sounds of the world, creating new experiences for those who care to listen.
