Jhalak Montréal

Jhalak Montréal is an organization that seeks to address and improve the realities, well-being and experiences that queer South Asians face in various segments of society. Through community engagement, education and policies based on diversity and inclusion, Jhalak seeks to acknowledge, integrate and progress members of the South Asia diasporic communities who identify as queer. In addition to this key focus, Jhalak also aims to establish strong relationships with queer and non-queer organizations to ultimately foster a greater sense of community, harmony and balance.
