Justine Philie

About

Justine (friends call her Justine “Philie”) got into comedy through improv. She graduated from the École Nationale de l’Humour in 2012, majoring in the television screenwriting programme for comedy fiction. Since then, she’s garnered writing credits on various projects, including feature film Maria (2021), flagship TV special “Bye Bye 2020”, variety hit Mammouth, Roast Battles (1-3), the prestigious 2020 and 2021 awards show Gala des Olivier, TVA talk show Martin Matte en direct, hit TV series l'Aréna, and as a script fixer for Just for Laughs 2022 and “Ultime” Gala 2023, the 2022 and 2023 Gala des Olivier, and roasts “Les Grands Bien Cuits” with Normand Brathwaite and Guylaine Tremblay.

Justine has worked with or alongside Didier Lambert, Mélanie Couture, Mélanie Ghanimée, Debby Lynch White, Jean-Sébastien Girard, Mariana Mazza, screenwriting Christine Morency's first one-woman show.
