LUMIÈRE is the free incarnation of a musical enlightening with glam rock edges. Sparkling, spectacular and sensitive, the proposition is emancipated from trends and vividly challenges the rules of nostalgia.
Beyond the music itself, LUMIÈRE is a character and solo project created by Étienne Côté (Canailles, Bon Enfant). Adorning his alter ego’s colourful and sparkly clothes, the singer and multi-instrumentalist unfolds with grandiloquence his love for pop and rock from the 1960s and 1970s, prominent and prosperous decades that shaped and defined the music we know today.
