Marjo
About
Marjolène Morin, born in Montréal on August 2, 1953, is an icon of Québec music. She made her debut alongside François Guy in 1975, enjoying success with the band CORBEAU, before embarking on a successful solo career with albums such as "Celle qui va" and "Bohémienne". She since made her acting debut in 2016 in Chien de Garde [released in English as Family First]. Marjo has received awards from ADISQ, SOCAN and the Academy of Canadian Cinema. In 2023, she was inducted into the Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame in recognition of her lasting impact on the Canadian music scene.
