Sami Landri is mostly known for their comedy sketches on social media, on which they have over 400,000 cumulative followers. They use this notoriety to reach as many people as possible with their DIY drag. Sami unapologetically speaks Chiac and shows people that regardless of their accents, French can be fun, hot and silly.
Xavier Gould (Chiquita Mére) is originally from Shediac (Es-ed-ei-ik) in New Brunswick. Xavier is known for their sense of humour, the way they speak and their contributions to the queer Acadian community’s effervescence. A raw and sensitive multidisciplinary artist, they dabble in theatre, drag and poetry. They currently live in Montréal (Tiohtià:ke). Des fleurs comme moi is their first poetry collection.
