Sarahmée

About

Sarahmée, a pillar of the Québec rap scene, made her sophomore release with the ADISQ-nominated album "Poupée Russe". The first hip-hop artist to be nominated in the Breakout Artist (“Révélation de l’année”) category of the prestigious Québec indie music awards, she has guest starred on several high-profile TV programs and received multiple nominations at the Gala Dynastie. As a spokesperson for Black History Month, she made her debut on network TV flagship talk-show "Tout le monde en parle". She’s also been a judge on TéléQuébec TV show "La Fin des Faibles" and narrated the documentary "ELLES" on TV5 Monde, in addition to hosting the first televised ADISQ awards gala on Téléquébec. She has been the face of campaigns for Sephora, New Look and Fizz. Her fourth album, due in 2024, promises heady rhythms and inclusive lyrics. Sarahmée has shown us her multiple talents, namely the skill to combine party banger power with artistic depth.
