Roundtable on Services and Barriers for the LGBTQIA+ Immigrant and Refugee Community

LGBTQIA+ individuals and Indigenous peoples part of the community, particularly those who are refugees and immigrants, may face unique mental health, legal, and social challenges related to their experiences of discrimination, trauma, and displacement. This comprehensive roundtable, hosted by AGIR in collaboration with ACCM, will delve into the legal, social, and health barriers that often impede the well-being and integration of individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community.

Participants will engage in interactive discussions, benefit from informative presentations about AGIR and ACCM services, and participate in activities that foster a deeper understanding of the unique challenges faced by community members. This format aims to facilitate an open exchange of ideas and solutions to better support the LGBTQIA+ immigrant and refugee community.

The round table is interpreted in Langue des Signes Québécoise (LSQ) and American Sign Language (ASL).
