Amplifying the voices of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities
Aiming to act as an amplifier for the demands of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities to the general public, Fierté Montréal has established a partnership with the daily newspaper Le Devoir since 2023 to publish a special Fierté Montréal leaflet, which gaves voice to 2SLGBTQIA+ community organizations and highlights their demands, challenges, and successes. In 2023, the leaflet had 12 pages and was published on August 5; in 2024, 16 pages were published on August 3, 2024.
The leaflet, with a print run of 50,000 paper copies, reaches a readership of 262,000 people per year. Fierté Montréal is proud to mobilize its media partners to relay the extraordinary work that 2SLGBTQIA+ community organizations do for the benefit of our communities.
